Oh my gosh!!!!

Ok, I’m still a little shaky over this and just so you know, we’re all fine… we had a near DEATH experience with Andrew just now. he went into the kitchen and didn’t come back. I herd little scuffling so I stood up to see what he was doing. I didn’t see him in the kitchen so I was about to turn on my heels and do a quick search to find out where he was and what was he getting into. Well, right before I left the kitchen, I heard the noise again. He WAS in the kitchen, and in an instant, I knew WHERE he was! HE WAS IN **IN** THE FRIDGE!!!!!!!!!! I opened the fridge pulled him out swat him on the butt 5 times then hugged and hugged him almost in tears saying “you can NOT go IN the fridge!! Don’t touch the fridge!!” Oh my gosh, my heart just jumped up in my throat and I’m just thinking, what if he had died! AAA! Parenting is so hard! What a scare! I’m getting a elastic hook rope today and we are going to try to make some sort of baby-safe brace for that fridge! It’s so hard to baby safe homes that arnt yours.

Chapters book store

We like to hang out at our local chapters book store. They have an awesome kids section with a giant tea cup, puppet show, and play set area.

Dont these tea cups remind you of the spinning cups at Disney World? I think they're so cute!

I know tea parties are for GIRLS, but Andrew had fun too.

they had so much fun with the puppet show!

they had these large animals. I read a book called "Library Lion" and I thought it was cool that this large lion was happen to be there with me, so took a picutre of the 2 of them together

Laurel Creek

This is a really great park that’s RIGHT by us! And the kids are FREE and it only cost 5 bucks for me! It was very beautiful there! if you even come camping here, insist on getting spot 110. its not even on the MAP, but it is there and it's the BEST spot!

there were geese there, but they are NOT friendly. Andrew wanted to chase them down but I kept him only at an observing distance.

I LOVE this picnic area that’s surrounded by aspen trees! It’s so elegant and romantic looking. Like it was made as a meeting place for Greek Gods.

This was some graffiti on a tree, but I agreed so I took a picture of it.

We found out that there are LOTS of these little frogs and minnows in the little ponds. We finally bought some bug-nets and observing buckets so we can go back some time and catch some frogs and minnows so we can observe them up-close.

This is my new favorite spot right by this HUGE tree! Isn’t it a beauty?! You can see the lake from it, I love it! (I have a real soul-bonding thing with trees)

a day with the dead

I took derick to work today and found out that all the stores I planed on going to weren’t open till 10 (a lot of stores are like that here). So we drove around and I ended up coming to a cemetery so I thought we might as well take a walk and I’ll take pictures. It’s such a BIG cemetery. The most pretty cemetery name I ever heard was called “garden of memories”, but this one was just named after the city like most cemeteries are. It’s an OLD plot too, many of the stones writings have been aged away. It was so sad when we got the plot where most of the children are buried and you look at how young they were. Such tiny tomb stones. Most of them had statues lambs for tomb stone markers. Every time we walked by one Amanda gave the little lamb a kiss on the head before moving on. It was very humbling to see these little children’s plots. I’m very grateful I have my children!!

But on a good note – I got some pretty pictures of the angles and grounds there.

On a really bad note – I locked my keys in the car… and my wallet… and my cell phone. So we walked out of the cemetery and around the corner and down a few blocks and had guy in a store call someone to come help me. the lock smith guy was very nice. I’ve have locked my keys in my car only twice now in my life, but each time the lock smith was such a nice guy. I guess they get a lot of good feelings from helping out such stressed out people like myself. But while my car was locked and I was waiting for someone to help me, feeling stranded and frustrated at myself, I did think a lot about family history and how sad it is… that I get really stressed out because I locked my keys in my car, I couldn’t move on, and around me where the dead and yet their spirits are locked out of progression and happiness because I havent help them out. I need to be better at family history work and going to the temple to do work for the dead.

Mom – I found a lot of “Hamels” and “Hummels” do you think they’re related line of ours?? I’ll send you those pictures later if you want.
