would SO love to have...

Ooo!! I have found what I want for CHRISTMAS!! Anyone who knows me, KNOWS I’m crazy about being creative, holidays, clipart, pictures… and I have SO many times thought “man I wish I could put this on a shirt, but those iron-ons make the image look so cheap”. Well they have made a tool for you to use at home to screen paint your images onto a shirt (or anything else you want)!!! Aaa! I’m so excited about this tool I want it so bad! Time to start saving up now. It’s called the “Yudu Screen Printing System”, but it costs $300! But RIGHT NOW at Michaels it’s on sale for $189, and you can find it on Amazon for $182.54 and yeah that’s still pricy for a gift for myself, but I could SO use this ALL the time! I could even use it when I have my business going!

My Kung-Fu is strong

Out of the blue Amanda said “mommy take a picture of me!” I turned to see what she was doing and she was doing Kung-Fu like moves. It was so funny and random. She almost looks like she knows what she’s doing!

Butterfly sandwiches

We made lunch time a little more fun today by making “butterfly sandwiches”! simple little joys make everyone smile!

Home away from HOME

WELCOME TO OUR HOME!
Come on in! let me take you on a picture tour of our hood yo!

when you walk in you enter our dining area and kitchen. makes it much easer when unloading groceries ya? it's a pretty kitchen. I like the cabinet color a lot.

and our tables. glass top tables are not my favorite, they're so loud with kids but it's better than our beds which is where we were having to eat in the hotel.

this is our closet, you face this as soon as you walk in. I'll have to get a bucket to keep here once we start getting snow so we'll have a spot to place all our wet coats and stuff.

I'm SO happy to have my own laundry washer again! yeah! it's in a closet right next to the kitchen.

aw, you look tired, lets go into the living room so you can take a load off your feet. oh, you like what I've done with the place, oh you're too kind. I know I really do have a flare for decorating.

and what manly home would this be without our lovely TV! and check it out, it comes with a radio too!! too cool I know! AND it plays tapes... like cassette tapes, ya know... small plastic things. Barry Manalow is going make this place ROCK!

the living room opens to the backyard. a small porch-deck, perfect for freeing the wild ones when they're bugging you too much.
you can almost hear Andrews small (non-existant voice) say "I'm out of here!"

lets go upstairs shall we? watch your step

as you can see on your left there is a linens closet. perfect for storing those extra blankets and sheets you'll be needing during the winter.

here is the kids room. kids are not included nor can they be held liable for the damages they leave behind.
this is an extra room. we're using it to store suitcases as of the moment.

and here is the upstairs bathroom. there is a downstairs bathroom but I didn't show it. here we have the sink and mirror, to the left of that there is the towel closet and to the left of that we have the... the indoor throne and bathtub.

and here is the love nest, the master bedroom complete with everything 2 love birds would ever hope for, a TV and outlets for your computers!

well thanks for visiting us... watch your step on the way - oooh, are you ok. no no you're fine. everyone bumps into that, I've been meaning to move it, you sure you're ok? ok then.' well thanks for visiting I hope you come by again real soon! bye!

MOVE IN – MOVE OUT

Monday was “moving out” day. Didn’t go as well as we hoped though. We were to move into our town house and we did. But then I sat down on the coach to take a well deserved break for a job well done... and then... my throat started to itch, and then, my ears itched, and then my noise and eyes and chest, I had a FULL blown allergy attack. I looked around and saw that there was long cat hair on the coach!! I got up found my drugs and then derick told me to go up and lay down cause as we know, Benadryl while it is helpful in an allergy attack, makes you sleepy and mentally… unclear. I go lay down but I’m hitting a worried-high now, I’m thinking “we JUST moved here! If I can’t breath here… this IS a deal breaker. Does derick know I feel this way, should I tell him, what if there isn’t another option. What do we do? I don’t want to tell derick I can’t live here if there’s not another choice, what do I say?” Derick sweetly went to vacuuming the coach and found out that it was COVERED in cat hair! He comes up to tell me he’s vacuumed all he could but he’s not sure if it’s enough for me to breath here comfortably. We talk and I tell him how I feel. He could see, this wasn’t going to work out, but we didn’t know what else is there we can do at the moment. Everyone was on vacation anyhow, there was no one we could call in and ask if there was an option B. but God in his sweet love for us, sent us out of the blue, the maid. She just walked by to see if we were ok and if everything was to our liking. And so derick told her how I had a big reaction and how we really need to know if there is any other place we can go too? And she says that the other side of the town house is open, clean, ready to go, no one with pets have ever been there. She said she was so sorry about the coach, she said she had a team member who was to clean it and that she was so sorry he didn’t do it. She said that she has minor cat allergies and just standing there talking was starting to get a reaction so she KNEW I was in terrible NEED of being moved out! She said that she would call the lady in charge on her cell and ask her if we could change rooms. We found out to our blessings, that we could. I jumped out of bed and grabbed all I could and moved to the next room and oh, it was so wonderful, I could BREATH! It was PERFECT! I even loved the layout better! The maid came back to see how we liked this house to our liking and if everything was ok now, and I gave her a hug right there on the porch. I told her I was SO grateful for her coming by and helping us change rooms cause this was finally a place where I could breath! So yeah, not the best MOVING day, but at least we are in a better place.

DAY @ Chuck-E-Cheese

This last weekend it was raining and cold so we decided to take the kids to Chuck-e-Cheese! Fun all-around!
The first thing they saw was this cho-cho-train station.

Amanda loves the marry-go-round. Andrew, eh, it depends on the day. Sometimes he likes it other times he doesn’t. this was a “I don’t like it day” so Amanda just went around solo. But you pay 1 token for 3 kids to go around, we usually ask the kids around us if they want to get on and ride and they usually do join when they realize it’s a free ride for them. If the kids want to do it again, you just take turns on which parents pay. One time (not this time, but another day at chuck-e-cheese) there was this free-loader kid who was following us everywhere! And every time we bought a ride for Amanda he jumped in and joined in for free. I didn’t mind a whole lot, but what bugged me was that he would jump in front of my or Amanda hand when we were going to push the buttons that change the ride. I kept paying for this simulation ride for Amanda and yet this kid was PICKING the story of the ride every time. That was when it bugged me and I’m looking around me to find out who owns this free-loading kid.

Poor Derick, we brought with us a bag of tickets from home. so he wanted to go turn them in now to get one paper-ticket... we got 1,238 TICKETS!! and that was BEFORE we all the tickets from THIS time here. I got later 393 so when we left this time we had 1,631 TICKETS!! and yet we didn't buy ANYTHING when we left. we thought, it can always wait till next time.

BEEP BEEP!! LOOK OUT!

andrew liked the wheel more than the game. go figure!

unless it's an AT&T number forget it kid!

this ride was CRAZY! you get into this jeep and it just knocks back and forth and goes up, Up and UP into the air! I did NOT know it would get up so HIGH! just look at Amandas face! she liked it thow.

Boy look out, AMANDAS COMING THRU! dont get too attached kid, we have to pay for your wedding.

smack it! SMACK IT! get those SHARKS!! this is where you really can let go of all that sibling frustration! I'm thinking of getting one for the house.

this was fun for both kids. it's a soccor kicking set. Andrew and Amanda really liked this one.

Andrew was really having more fun then he lets on. what can I say, he's very conservitive with his emotions. but he went back to that slide over and over again.

Andrew is so funny. he wanted to ride this ride over and over and over. I think he said "more" like 7 times, but each time, he had the same face you see here. but I finally DID get him to smile! YEAH! how cute is that?

boys love their toys!

uh, Amanda wants to go to school SO badly! she wants to go on a bus, have a back-pack, desk, teacher, friends, the whole 9-yards. and I have to just keep telling her "not today" "someday".
that was the end of our day at chuck-e-cheese. overall it was a very fun day! and it was a great way to spend the day while it was rainy and cold outside.

the Jacuzzi Suite

When we were still at the hotel, we had to move to another hotel room for just a week. It’s called “The Jacuzzi Room” and HOW! The Jacuzzi is IN the room! Like RIGHT NEXT to the bed! And it is a MONSTER of a Jacuzzi tub! Just to show you how it swallows up the kids when their in it! When Andrew was done and out I filled it up more for just Amanda and it was like she was swimming!

These are our amenities to make bath time FUN!

When the tube was dry and we were all dressed we all climbed in to see if it would fit us all and our WHOLE family can fit in this tub!

Observing the SNAILS

We went out shopping and on our way back to the car we found a lot of snails on a branch. They are so pretty! We had an empty water bottle in the car so I grabbed it and we put the snails in the bottle and took them home to observe them a little longer.

Amanda really liked watching the snails going around the bottle.

Just look at those chocolate and vanilla stripes! Arnt they beautiful!
