They had some beautiful flowers in front so I took a few pictures before we went in. pretty hu?
When you walk it, it’s an open room, you sit down on one of the benches and a sister missionary will be there to great you, and she’ll be the one to walk with you to all the log cabins and tell you a little bit of its history when you’re walking around. You can walk around by yourself if you want too, but you have to be with a sister missionary if you want to go inside the cabins, so I highly recommend that you don’t skip out on the tour. this is the Joseph Smith log cabin out this window.

This isn’t actually the SAME bible the Smith family had growing up, but it is from the same time period. It’s opened up to the scripture that changes Joseph’s life, James 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him."

if you want to read about Joseph's exspereince of reading that scripture you should check out the Gospel Art Kit's info right here: http://lds.org/ldsorg/v/index.jsp?hideNav=1&locale=0&sourceId=aa4ef48fa2d20110VgnVCM100000176f620a____&vgnextoid=198bf4b13819d110VgnVCM1000003a94610aRCRD
