OTTAWA: Dinner

We ordered in room service which is always fun to do but not so fun to pay for. oh my goodness I wish we just left to get take out at Kelsey’s or something instead. It would have been better tasting and at a much better price. We got a steak, the meat was ok, the rest of the stuff on the plate, not so much.

And THIS believe it or not, is cheese cake! And it didn’t taste very much like cheese cake too which was a big letdown. My favorite part was actually that weird looking leaf sticking out of the top. I think it was a basil leaf or something that was baked in a sugary, frothy-egg-wash or something.

Overall, our experience is that this is meant to be a special gourmet experience, and all we really wanted was some good home-cooking. Which is ALWAYS hard to come by when you live the life of the open road. All well, it was an experience.
